i have a baby squamosa (about 2 inches across) and when i got it, it would attach and stay where i put it for at least a week without falling. now i attach it and it falls withing an hour. i've always put it in the same place, so im puzzled as to why it wont attach (or rather why it detaches). anyone have any suggestions?

Will need a little more information (lighting,distance from lighting, water flow),
Try placing the clam in a different location in the tank for starters.
hope this helps

Joe is correct. If he is jumping then most likely he doesn't like it where he is, try moving him.

lighting = 2 x 55w JBJ pc's
distance = about 8 inches away where i want it, but it prefers the substrate which is about 18 inches away
waterflow= not too strong, but not stagnant
