Can you tell me what the difference between your nuclear grade di resin and the semiconductor grade resin is?

Really not very much nuclear grade color changing can produce 15 megohm water and semiconductor grade non color changing can produce 18 megohm. We buy the highest grade of each we can find for producing ultrapure DI water. We also use special packaging to make sure your resin stays fresh until you ready to use it no zip lock baggies here.

would you recomend one over the other?

They both provide ultra pure water and work the same. You hear people saying color changing is not as good but that is a myth.
They both provide the same amount of TDS absorption per cartridge. Color changing resin gives you a visual to exhaustion and may change color before totally exhausted but non color changing gives you no visual sign of exhaustion. You should be using a TDS meter with both kinds of resin and not using a TDS meter is just a poor practice.

I use color changing and a dual TDS meter which I monitor at the start and end of each water making session. Since my RO TDS is 2 and I'm using a dual DI housing my resin seems to last forever and always gives me 0 TDS DI water.
