I am holding some live rock for several months in a rubbermaid tub and want to maintain and increase coraline algae coverage. I have a 36" 2 bulb std flourescent light strip. What kind of inexpensive bulbs can I get from Home Depot or Lowes that would do the job?

Thanks!

The standard GE daylight bulbs will be fine.

Coraline grows best in dark areas with high flow rates...

True but he still needs bulbs, and some light. 2 30" watt bulbs are fine. Any type of flourescent lighting will be fine.

Correct, so low light would be best.
