My tnak is about 6 months old now and all of the sudden there is alot of aribubbles appearing under the surface of the sandbed to about 1 inch in depth?

Nitrogen from the bacteria in your sand.

shows that the amonia in your tank is being broken down to nitrite then nitrate then finally to free nitrogen. Its a good thing. Got plenty of bubbles in my sand bed. Some sand shifters like sand stars adn tiger tail cumbers should keep your sand stirred enough so that the bubbles wont be there all the time.

its normal and will go away, part of the cycle so just leave it be.

Does the same thing happen with LR (bubbles)????

it could also ( and more likely) be O2 from algae int he sandbed that is growing off the light that is traveling throu the glass

it coudl be o2 but no not on the LR just in the sand bed
