View Full Version : What can I keep under 192 Watts (PC's)

I have a 55 gal. aquarium and I wanted to know what kind of corals I could keep using my 192 watt system?

LPS,leathers,all softies,& montiporas (sps) up high in the tank with no problem.

monti?? I would suggest softies (leathers, zoa and mushrooms)

NO sps in that tank, that is not enough light at all. i would stick to just softies for now, maybe later on try some lower light lps.

I kept montipora cap's,& digis under a 96w powerquad in a 10g 4 over 1 yr b-4 i got MH light.I only changed to MH because i bought a Cali Tort,& a A.Sarmentosa.

Yeah you could keep a monti but why would you want to keep a coral under the bare minimum? You should strive for the optimal enivroment instead.

That is alot more watts per gallon than a 196 over a 55 gallon, plus much less depth.
