Hello Ridgeline,
dosing pumps will be available before the end of the year, instead the SMS module shifted to the first quarter of the 2007 due to the long time the homologation needs.

We will give you plenty of practice in this forum :)
Dear all,
would it be possible to connect two pieces of dosing pumps ACQ450 directly to Contorl Unit ACQ001? Or via Active HUB ACQ215? Without any power unit? Could you recommend me the minimal configuration for using of 6 dosing pumps (2 blocks of three pumps). (Minimal means minimal costs and also minimal space)
Thank you in advance,
Best regards,
Martin

No it would not be possible, you need at least one Power Bar, the Control unit is powered by the Power Bar and the Power Bar also has the USB connectors for the Dosing Pump.
Your Minimum system:
1 x ACQ001 (Controller)
1x PowerBar (Model Depends on your countries Voltage)
2 x ACQ450 (You said 2 dosing pumps right?)

I was wondering with the dosing pump what all will everybody dose, with having three pumps. I really like the pump but only need one to top through a kalk reactor. I'm really hesitant to dose any trace elements, idodine stronium ect do to the possible over dose especially with not having a probe to test and shut off at high levels. I did see where there is a spot on the pump where later they will incorperate a stirrer for a kalk reactor. I guess I'm just wanting a reason to spend the money:D I just can't seem to find two other reason to need the pumps. I plan to use a calcium reactor in conjuction with a kalkreactor and plan to just replenish trace elements with small weekly water changes. Any ideas?
I really like the controller I bought it about a year ago in a group buy, about ten of use bought the units. I still do not have it hooked up a running yet, still getting stuff ready for the tank setup. Also with downloading updates to the software on the computer do you need to unhook the controller from the PC?
Any future plans for more testing abilities, calcium, alk ect?
Thanks Kyle
