how do you guys use this?

Do you turn off your powerhead, skimmer, and/or filter?

I have been turning the ph off and spot feeding my sun polyps but I was curious if I could put some in the tank and let everything fend for themselves? This is the current livestock:
1 blue damsel, 1 striped damsel
atlantic anemone
sun coral (small frag)
button polyps
neon green star polyps
hammer coral (frag branch)
blue mushroom
6 hermits, 2 snails

the sun polyps should still be spot fed, you can leave the ph on if you want, everythin else can get its own

I don't turn anything off during feeding. Good flow spreads the food around pretty evenly, so nothing really starves or gets overfed.

Does anyone not spot feed their sun polyps (or something similar)? I've heard of people not feeding their sun polyps or just not spot feeding them and it just doesn't seem right.

Thanks for your oppinion!!!

I spot feed my zoos with cyclo...they love it. I turn off my overflow and recirc pump. I spot feed a few things then turn on the recirc tank and add a little more cyclo. I leave the overflow pump off for about 1/2 hour.

Thats just me.

I would turn off the skimmer for a couple hrs. after feeding, and leave the powerheads on. You can also leave any filters running unless you use a micron filter material.
