first try at macro shots

i borrowed a Canon EOS 10D from a friend of mine that does alot of photography.ive never tried to take macro shots,so these are first time shots like this for me.here are some of my zoas

im gonna ask him some questions about the camera and try to get better pics,as im sure the camera can do.

it looks like u took a lot of the shots on an angle did u?
for macro i use tripod & keep the lens straigh & i also use the remote for the camera this way i dont touch the camera at all.
