Yes how big are you going? See a lot of guys using these on raised platforms and gravity feed them into their sumps. They just use them to hold pure RO/DI.

Sounds interesting how much water do you thing you'll be using per day?. I mentioned storing RO/DI because it is easier to keep then mixed saltwater.

Im trying to figure out if I can cut evaporation to nil.
Want an ro/di which is inexpensive on replacement cartridges. I'm thinking between broodstock, larvae, growout evap and cleaning maybe 10gals a day?? However being as I can't afford literally to not have water I thought of adding the storage tank. I'd like to figure out how if can be automatic filled too.

Just keep in mind that RO/DI water has been stripped of desinfectants. The longer you keep it in storage the higher the chances it will develop bacteria and spores. Thry to keep a volume that will allow of a turn over of at least once a week.

Ok so I could probably use any of the ro/dis then cuz I wanna keep the tank full. Do u need DI for fish only??

JD is right you want to keep that water turned over. Better to have the abliity to make more water faster then to store a large volume. we are selling more water savers all the time for people who need large amounts of water with very large tanks or multi tank systems.
