I'm looking for an in sump skimmer for a 90 gal diplay with a 30 gal sump. I was thinking of the ASM G-1. What do you guys think?

For $20.00 more you can get the G-2 which is a significantly better skimmer.

What are you planning to keep in this tank? Some tanks need a bigger and better skimmer then others.

I have an MRC MR-2 skimmer and I love mine. Good quality and works great.

This bears repeating. Determine your available space, and if you can fit something bigger without spending a whole lot more $$, do it!

Yea, definitely determine your max height from inside the sump.

I almost forgot about that, but I am able to clear the bottom of my tank by like 2"

Also, if you have to remove the top to clean for any reason, make sure you take into account being able to lift it off of the skimmer and being able to manuever it out of the stand.
