I recently replaced the check valve on my unit with one I got from you.
It seemed pretty tight at first. I could barely blow through it. And yes I was blowing through the correct end in case you were wondering. Any way it was much tighter than the one I replaced. I thought that was probably more the way it should be. Today I noticed it making a rather loud kind of screaming noise. I rotated the housing a bit and it went away but seemed to still be screaming a little. I tapped it and it has gone away. I figure this has something to do with how tight it is but I guess I really don't know. Can you shed some light on this for me. Otherwise it seems to working fine.

Thanks.

It sounds like you have air trapped in the system which will work its way out.

it was a considerably loud "screaming" noise and it actually shook it a little. But it seems to have gone away. No matter It's working great.

If it's gone now that sounds like air in the system that has bled out. :)
