I need help in selecting which ro/di will be best for my intended usage.
What I need is a unit which is gonna keep the TDS low for a long time with constant small usage probably everyday.
Water saver model looks good as does several others. I don't believe I care about the volume it does everyday. I think I need the most efficent model you have and the one who's filters don't cost a small fortune to replace monthly or bi-monthly.

I already thought about the water saver for you because it's able to produce a lot of water in a hurry if you have good pressure. Mine produces 71/2 gallons per hour but it's on a booster pump because I have very low tap pressure. It use to take me 12 hours to produce 30 gallons now it's down to 4 hours.
Without a doubt you should only use a 75 GPD membrane for lowest TDS. We only use top quality high capacity filters which provide 10 to 20 thousand gallon filter capacity. The DI resin capacity would depend on your tap water TDS.

How do I know if I need a booster pump? I'm gonna out it on the washer for now. Also can I put the waste water in the washer too?
So u suggest the water saver unit?

You only need a booster if your pressure is low. if you have at least 60 psi water pressure or higher your fine. Lots of people used the waste in the washer it's filtered just a little higher in TDS.

You will only know that once you have a pressure gauge.

do have smaller micron filters?

We have 5 and 1 micron poly sediments and down to .5 micon carbon filters. You dont want to go to small and run the risk of clogging. The 5 micron poly sediment seems to do the job as a catch all. What did you have in mind?
