Calcium Reactor do's and don'ts

I guess I officially became a serious reefer today since my Korallin reactor is up and running. I've had a little difficulty getting the bubble count just right. Any stories or accidents I should know about? Any shortcuts/equipment to make the adjustment easier? Thanks!
