hows this for a stocking list? i have a feeling i may have too much here but:
2 fire fish, 2 neon gobies, midas blenny, 2 clowns (undecided as to which) l with a common run of the mill clean up crew of some snails (unsure just yet) and some hermits
is this too much of a bioload for a 72g bowfront with a 29 g sump? The main focus of the tank will be corals , so i think i may have to tone it down on the fish...?

None of the fish get large so I think you will be fine.

Those are all small fish, I would think it should be fine but others opinions would be nice too.

To me that would leave room for 1 larger fish perhaps.. like, the attention grabber- of course you would need to check the compatibility but i'd say you could put a smaller tang or something else "centerpieceish" that wont nibble your corals..
show us pics when you do it!! :) (the sump definitely will help with the bioload if you add one more bigger fish)

I was thinking maybe a shrimp coby and pistol shrimp pair as well
if i went with a larger centerpeice fish i think it would be a kole tang

You should be fine bioload wise.

I have the same tank and setup.
2 percula clowns
1 Indigo dottyback
1 6 line wrasse
3 chromis
1 spotted kole tang
I don't feel my bioload is too large, but ask me again when all the fish grow up.
