So my Mystery Wrasse is already established. Would I be able to put in a Lineatus Wrasse?

how big is the mystery wrasse and how big is the lineatus you're going to get?

Mystery is about 3 inches. Not sure on the Lineatus, will be getting it from Liveaquaria.

Liveaquaria only has juveniles which are 1.5-2.5" so I don't think it will work, unless you want to buy a $200 punching bag for your mystery.

You could try moving the rock work around when the linetas is ready to go into the tank, to help break up territorial lines. But its still a risk.

Mystery Wrasses tend to bully/kill fairy wrasses irrespective of size. Worst case scenario is the Mystery Wrasse establishes first. This is especially true in a moderate size tank.

i just checked out liveaquaria and the ones they have are 3 1/2- 5 inches, also you could make a request for a larger specimin.

That is so weird. The mystery wrasse seems so peaceful right now! :)

if you can take him out and the put him back in after the lineatus has established some territory it should work. 3" is rather large for a mystery especially if you plan to add fairies after...

Well I hadn't planned on it, I was just wondering if it would work.
