I have read that the bottom glass is tempered.
To be able to handle the weight.

Is there a limit to the weight?
From all the live rock additions?

Anyone have the bottom bust out?

I'm sure it can handle a lot of weight in the form of rocks. As long as you don't overfill your tank with rock (i.e. more than 3lbs per gallon) you should be fine. The only thing I would watch out for is dropping a big rock onto the bare bottom.

well I'll tell you this much, right now I have 500lbs of live rock sitting in a 75g reef ready tank, it's so full I have a little bit of of rock that I can't get low enough in the tank to be covered in water.
Believe it or not this is going to be used as a basement sump for a 29g on the first floor.
I got a deal on the rock but I'm not ready to setup a large reef just yet and figured since I have it why not use it.
I think I have more rock voume than water LOL.

500lbs to filter and feed a 29g????

Must be a record!!!!

AWESOME

Maybe some starboard or eggcrate on the bottom to even out the weight? I'm sure you have pressure points. Hope it works out for you.
