Plastic Welder

Can anyone recommend a website or book to learn about plastic welding? I have done a decent amount of welding with various metals but wanted to learn about the various products and vendors. I am planing on doing some DIY projects and would like to weld some of the parts. Also does anyone have a recommendation on a decent welder? I would like to buy a decent product and not buy the Harbor Freight special.

I got some tips from the wegener site since I have one of their welders. The have some videos you can look at that helps you with basic welding.
