I was told that is is ok to clean out my 75g with bleach water... it had freshwater in it for 3 yrs... and was discusting... so i filled the tank with tap water and one cup of bleach and let a pump run for like a week... just because i never had time to empty the thing... i thought that with only on cup of bleach to 75g of water this wouldn't hurt anything... please tell me im correct!!

Shouldn't hurt anything. But to be safe get some declorinator like Start Right and fill the tank with freshwater with a triple dose of the Start Right and let it soak for a hour or so.

Am hour or so soak would be all that was needed, not a week :). Im not sure if leaving the bleach in there for a week might have done anything to the seals, I would say rinse it out reall good, then let it dry COMPLEATLY, which will evaporate all the clorine. Then just water test it, and make sure it's not leaking, and you should be ok.
