I just bought a fully grown coral beauty angel, but I have read that they are a bit aggressive towards LPS corals. Is this true?

I currently have a huge open brain (about the size of a half of a soccer ball), a huge fox coral, a green leather, torch coral, Kenya tree, yellow gargonian, green galaxia, Condylactus (big), 50 zoanthids, two green cromis, two false percs. a mandarinfish, lawnmower blenny, firefish, camelback shrimp, cleaner shrimp, and various hermit crabs and snails.

Will anything be affected by this angel?

I would like to know also since I am hearing conflicting information.

Thank-you :)

I have had my cb for going on 4 yrs. and she hasn't touched a coral yet. I have heard of horror stories though, so I would guess they all have different personalties.

Its hit or miss. Just keep it well fed, and see how it goes!

Good Luck!!!

Coral Beautys are fine in a reef.

Mine was the worst fish I ever had. She picked at all the corals and bullied the fish. I was more than happy to give her away and I'll never put another angel into a reef. And she was fine for about six months before she turned into the devil. Not worth the chance IMO.

what do you feed your coral beauty? It seems mine picks at hair algae but will not eat the algea I feed it (sheet marine algae)

Mine loves flake formula 1 and 2, frozen mysis, and it grazes on the rocks throughout the day.
