ok guys i need some help. i have had my tank for over a year now and over some time i had started to develope a red algea on the glass. i tried to do different things like water change and get another pump to rotate water beter and stuff like that in the tank but its obviously not working cause the algea is spreading more and some parts have gotten darker. i know this must be a common problem with hopefully an easy fix so can someone please tell me what to do so i can get rid of it???? any help would be very appreciated. thank you everyone

i am pretty sure that is what it is to. reading some of the info that is on the internet it seems to be explaining it as that. i dont have the ability to get a picture at the moment but what should i do if that is indeed it?

If you have a skimmer then do more skimming. A phosphate reactor may also help.
