I have 3 seio powerheads in my 75. An 1100 a 1500 and a 2600.

Ive noticed Ive been having higher temps since Ive added the M2600, a little too high for my taste. My heater isnt comming on anymore.

Something Ive noticed since ive added the M2600 is how LOUD it is. I mean this thing vibrates like crazy. I dont know if Im right to think that perhaps because they vibrate alot it might actualy affect the temp they run at? Im not able to campare with tunze because I dont have one. Maybe they are quieter and cooler?? Hopefully somebody has compared and can chime in with their knowlege.

Thanks in advance for any info on the subject.

The less watts you have, the cooler your pump/powerheads will run.

I never hear my Tunze's...

WoW, I just looked at the specs and it seems the seio 1500 (similar gph as tunze 6060) uses 34 watts. Thats 3 x the wattage for the same flow.

No doubt Im overheating. Thank you both for oppening my eyes to this one.
