well I thought it was sponge but after asking DR. Ron Shimek seems I that I have Sea Squirt or tunicate I was going to offer it in a local PIF thread but now I am trying to do more research about it seems that having it and having spread like it is is uncommon or at least that's how it appears it has spread onto 4 rocks does not apear to be aggresive. but I have not been able find allot of info any buddy have anything they can pass a long 1st from the good DR.

The orange organism in your image is not a sponge. Rather, it is a compound or colonial sea squirt or tunicate. Identification of them is about as difficult as is the identification of sponges, and it cannot generally be done from images. That having been said, your pictured animal appears to be a species of Botryllus or a relative thereof.

that's really cool looking..I wish I could get something like that to come out my rock
