I just started to notice a few red flat worms on a rock in my 5.5g nano tank. The rock has yellow polyps on it. About a week later i noticed that a few of them were on the actual polyps. I did some research and found that the red ones are bad and that i should get ride of them. Any suggestions on how to do this in such a small tank. I don't want to dose my tank with anything that might hurt my other corals/fish. Please help......

Far as I know. Flat worm exit is the only thing to use. I used it, but in a much larger tank. Maybe freshwater dips then quarenteen for a while. Should not be too hard to get a 5 Gal. container.

Good luck.

A natural predator of the flatworm that you may buy to kill them is a coral banded shrimp. My buddy uses one of these little guys to take care of his flatworm problem. Works well.

also black velvet nudi's ... however your fastest most efficient bet is FW exit!
