I just picked one of these up. Its a little stressed out, but I hope to have pics in a few days.
I've been looking for one of these for about 9 months and I bought the first one I saw for sale.

A little bit of info, most of the "Japanese" brains come from Indo waters. Japanese people just pick out all of the good ones which leads us to believe that they have some hidden stash ;)

The pic isn't of the one I got, that's a pic from Cquarium. Just thought I should clear that up, don't want to offend anybody. :D
Mine is a little different coloration than that, but should still be a very nice piece. It's still pretty stressed, but they are usually pretty hardy and its getting better every day.

Yeah, I'm worried about it, but thats how it came in. Hopefully it'll make it. Seemed to feed a little last night.

Did you know it was that beat up when you bought it? Keep feeding it if it will take food.

I had a brain that came in not-so great shape that didn't make it from LiveAquaria. Seeing these pics make me realize more that upon arrival it seemed super stressed- it eventually got this white film over it then brown stuff- saw the brown and called them up. Got a refund and gave it a second chance with another.
I will take a pic when the lights are on tomorrow- its just a normal red\green trachy but its stunningly beautiful and in very healthy shape like naka's above.
Also that is a nice sclyomia (i can't spell it).. doughnut? next to your brain naka. I really love the way those corals look are they easy to take care of? I hope to save up for a nice unique looking one when my 55 is up

The doc jumps on another great deal, lol...you guys are quick :) Doc, those are gorgeous. I was checking them out a few days back while perusing Rommel's site...no room in the tank but I definately admired the incredible stripes on those. They should love their new digs with you :D.
