Coral Warfare.... Help

I had an Acan come in contact with a Trachyphyllia for about 2 hours... the Acan seems ok, the Trachy has a "burn" spot where they touched... Is there anything I can do? Am I going to lose the Trachy or will it recover?

Most corals given good water and relief from proximity will recover a burned spot. Get it as far from the rival as possible and keep the flow moderate and the water quality excellent. You might also feed a bit to give it something to go on.

Thanks for the advice! Actually, the 2nd thing I did (after separating them) was to feed the Trachy... seemed like the right thing to do... hopefully it helps :)
