I just picked up my first Acan Lord ... Anyone have any care tips, particularly tank placement and feeding related?

Thanks

With respect to growth, will the polyps begin encrusting neighboring rocks? The frag that I bought is completely covered with healthy polyps. If I want it to grow out, do I need to place other rocks touching it, or will it just build skeleton like a chalice or something would.

I've always mounted it on a rock and used epoxy to make a smooth transition. I feed mini mysis, but not often. Some dedicated people feed 2 or 3 times a week. Maybe more. I feed when I get a chance or have time. More like once every 2 weeks for me.

it will grow faster if you adhere like delight suggested with an epoxy "bridge" from the frag to the new rock.

I keep my magnesium around 1400. I mostly keep acans and micros.
