View Full Version : how strong is cured epoxy?

I was thinking of using it to hold a pvc backbone made out of the spa flex pvc stuff, would it be strong enough to bond pvc to glass and then add rock to the pvc via zip ties?

It won't work. These Underwater Epoxies are made to fill in gaps and need a rough irregular surface to bond too. If you are cementing two rocks together you need to get the rock where you want it and stuff the epoxy at the contact points. Aquarium Sealent in a dry aquarium would probably work
