i have just brought some kent nitrate sponge to get my nitrate down. it is about 25. is the sponge any good.

I think the best method to cure nitrate is to have a refugium and grow macro algae along with the water monthly changes. I used the kent sponge b4 but did not really lowered my trates until I added a fuge. good luck!
