I would like to see because I can't tell if mine have it or not.
There appears to be ick all over my seahorse, but then again, I can't tell if it's the normal coloration and splotchy pattern.
These are Reidi.
Do they get it easily?

i have never seen a seahorse with ich, don't know any keepers who have ever had it with their horses. doesn't mean it's not possible they're just not real susceptible to it (other than their gills). can you post a picture?

sounds good. you could do a FW dip (10-12 minutes) - pH and temp matched and see if the "spots" fall off. let's see a picture first. have you noticed any increased respiration? horse scratching themselves with their tail or rubbing against any objects? still eating normally? any change in behavior?

Here are the pics as best as I can get them.
They are eating and no signs of scratching.....yet. But I have another problem in the tank....see other thread.

I'm concerned because it seems like an awful lot of spots.

Sugartooth, I just left the other thread.
I have never heard of a seahorse with ich.
How old is your horse?

Does it look like anything is wrong to you? He just seems to have so many "spots" and they are raised, like ick looks.
I feel like I am eventually going to have a stroke because of seahorses.
Between this and the two other threads....ugh.

My horse, also reidi, looks like someone blew a handfull of pixiedust at her.
It may be that at 10 months and having gone from yellow/white to brown, that this is just adult coloration.
From the photos, it's hard to tell, but does the white seem to have a pattern?

The white "raised" looking dots don't seem to have a pattern. They have white bands going across their bodies, yes.
It's the "raised" looking ones I'm concerned with.
Your description of blowing pixie dust on them is right on!
