My clam that ive had for a month isn't opening much and i know its not PM. The tank is:

The was light acclimated and is about 6 inches fromt the top of the water and light is about 8 inches above water

Fish are Clown, Dottyback, and Algae Blenny <-- hasn't picked on the clam at all.

And im not able to get a pic because the last time i used the camera it fell into the tank and broke and i haven't got another

have you checked it for pyramid snails? best done at night using a flashlight. best if you can remove the clam to inspect it ( if you have them you'll have to take the clam out to brush them off anyway )

any corals or anemones nearby stinging possibly?

how much flow and is it pointed directly at the clam?

could you borrow a camera? a pic would really help

Well i checked for pyramid snails and didn't see any.

Closest coral is a monti cap about 6 inches. And closest anemone is a BTA about 5 inches away when fully expanded

about 600 gph is the flow and its getting indirect flow from maxijet 900 and a skimmer return

No one that i know has a digi camera.

Max Temp in summer is a steady 83. Max Temp in winter is a steady 78.
