I have a 58 rr with a 20g sump and I am running a quiet one 3000. Do you think I should have more flow it seems like I have some dead spots. I have softies and lps. Thinking of a maximod what do you think.

Try the 1200 maxi-jet mod and than go from there. Or bump it down and do the 900 mod. The amount of flow you want really depends on the subtrate and what corals you plan on keeping.
