1. Have had this frag for about 2 months, starting to show growth, it is supposed to be purple, when the LFS got it was this color.

2. Pick this up Yesterday, some type of encrusting coral.

Any ideas?

1 - Have to wait for that to grow out a bit. I was going to say M. Digitata, but there seems to be a couple of axial corallites sprouting from that base. Probably some sort of acro..
2 - Merulina.

It could be P. rugosa. Looks like the one that I have.

ah, on second thought... yeah, i'm totally wrong, as usual. Pachyseris, lol.

Thank you guys, my LFS thought it was the Merulina, but after review, I believe it is the Pachyseris. The acro frag grew more than the picture shown, it has about 7 sprouts coming from it.. I just can't wait for the color to come back, hopefully. It didn't do anything until I put my fish back in over a month ago and started to feed again (tank was fishless for 5 weeks), it is quite amazing what a little fish food can do.
