I have a problem with my sunset coral. It comes out in the normal way but I have noticed that the pink tissue covering the skelton is retracting and showing that same skeleton.

I am feeding it regularly with defrosted Cyclopeeze but it appears not to be stopping the apparent decay. Can anyone please advise what to do because I do not want to lose this stunning coral?

I'm not familiar with a Sunset Coral. Do you have a picture of it? Do you mean Sun Coral (Tubastrea species)?

Sorry, thats what we call them in the UK.

Any advice?

You might try to feed it thawed frozen mysis shrimp. It needs more nutrition than cyclopeeze.

if it's receeding, it's not getting enough chow. Feed the poor guy mysis daily with the pumps off so it gets a chance to eat. Do this for a while, till it appears puffy again, then drop to about 1x every 2-3 days.
