hey, can someone reccomend what tubing fits best with the Phosban 150? I'm using a MJ 400. Also where to buy it (Hoping HD or Lowes).
thanks

But what type of tubing. I looked at the vynil but the stuff is almost too flexible. Way too easy to get really bad creases in the tubing. The braided tubing seems a little stiff to do 360 turns without any connectors.

you do not need very much of the tubing. The cheap vinyl is the best I think. It seems to stiffen up with age too.

standard 1/2" clear (or black) plastic tubing. Just picked up 2 feet at ace harware (sim to an OSH). Marinedepot also sells this stuff. If you need to order something else from them, it's cheap and just throw it in. But if single item, shipping would be to much. Also should pick up the 1/2" plastic sanp clips. Marinedepot or I think petco has them.

I haven't been successfull with the tubing at lowes. It's way to flexible IMHO and it doesn't really fit the same as good pharma. or aquarium tubing does because it's "stiffer" or thicker.

are there any fittings that fit with the standard vinyl tubing such as
90's?

yep, hose barb fittings with plastic clamps will work good. Elbows, Tees etc are availible. I don't think lowes sells them may need to go to a more local, smaller store like ace hardware or marinedepot look here:http://www.marinedepot.com/aquarium_plumbing_parts_fittings_hose_barb_hosebarb.asp
