Hello everyone.
I am running a deltec mce600 on a 200l sps tank and i am resonably happy. The thing is i would like to increase the skimming efficiency as the waste produced by the fish seems to bypass the skimmer an end up collecting in my pump section of the sump (skimmer also in sump). I thought that if i could get the overflow water to go directly into the skimmer this would take out alot more waste . As this is not possible with the mce600 i have bought a second hand ap525 wich has this facility .
The main question is can i just plumb one of my durso overfows directly to the skimmer or do i need some sort of breather incorporating into the plumbing to let the air out. Thanks daniel.
