trumpet experiment

i have 2 different color frags of trumpet - neon green and the pinkish-purple types. the stems on both are short and have a hard time staying put so i want to epoxy the stems together and see if over time if they will grow in and out of each other.

the 2 different types should be ok - shouldn't they? or do you think there might be some competition / aggression?

I don't know. I know that's absolutely no help, but it sounds like it is deffinately worth a try. I think that if does work, it will be awesome looking. Big fan of the trumpets. I want to see pics if you make it work!

Might work for a while, but I imagine you'll have one color growing faster than the other and eventually overtaking the others (a big outer ring of coral 1 surrounding a dying inner ring of coral 2)

The will grow together, but at different rates, one will just get pinched off, it will look cool at the beginning until one overgrows the heads of the other
