I am using a IceCap 660 ballast with 4 - 55W 10000/Act03 PC Smart Bulbs.

The lights worked fine for the 1st 4 months, now it will run for about 1 week and then blows out the last bulb on the run, and none of the other bulbs will light. I have relpaced this bulb 3 times in the last month with the same result.

Any ideas as to what is going on? This is getting pretty expensive, a years worth of bulbs in one month!

PLEASE HELP! Any ideas?

Have you looked at your end caps? You may have a end cap that is shorting out on you. Just a thought.

Has to be a problem with the lamps, lamp sockets, or a combination of both. Since it is always the same position you need to check the socket closely for any corrosion, loose contacts, or how tightly the lamp is seated in the socket.

I will put in a new socket within the next hour.

The lamps are brand new. What would a possible problem be with the lamps? Was there a bad batch of those or something?

But, with it being the same lamp positon, I guess that would be less likely to be the problem?
