One of my cousin has that skimmer. Berlin recommend 300 gph, but had better success with a mag 7 or a rio 2500

I had one for a long time with a mag 12 and it was very impressive. With a small pump they are worthless but with a big pump they kick butt. But, mag 12 = 110 watts which is why I switched over to a needlewheel skimmer =18 watts. Never tried HOB always ran it in the sump. Hope that helps some

right not im running a remora on my 46. i dont plan on running this yet but knowing how it works would be great. ha ha.

The berlin has it's own pump, but the needle wheel is fairly common. If you feel like it, there's an upgrade available direct from red sea.
