I got 4 frags sent to me yesterday via usps express. The sender checked the signature waive box, but when I came home to get them today there was a note saying they will redeliver tomorrow!! They have a heat pack in there. Is there a possibility they will survive?

There are 4 different micro frags in there... :(

You can't go to the main warehouse and pick it up? Its always been an option for me.

Rev:

Call the office in the morning before the trucks leave and see if they can pull them off and you can go by and pick them up ASAP. They're hardy corals, but getting banged around causes more problems than temps, IMO. I assume they're in the heated branch office, of course, and not setting out in a truck somewhere.

You can also go to usps.com with the tracking # and tell them to hold it at the office so you can pick them up tomorrow.

I had a miscommunication once and had some spend 72+ hours sitting at FedEx. They were stressed but have since recovered. You should be fine they are one of the hardiest corals out there in terms of shipping.

I had a frag shipped to me and the bag leaked out all the water. There wasn't much water left in the bag, only what was able to stick to the bag. The frag was still damp.

They survived. Hopefully yours will too.

Ok just picked them up from the post office and they are floating. One of the bags had leaked out some water, and it soaked the heat pack causing the heat pack not to work, and the water to turn black. I can see the polyps though in the bag and they look fine so far.

Well I acclimated them and put them in a dark tank and went off to work. They honestly looked fine. :)

I'll try and get some pics later.

Very pretty choices you picked out. They look like they will be fine once they recover a bit.

Last Friday I was supposed to receive a micro frag, a $200 tank raised red ric and a "rare" anemone and UPS screwed up and it sat in Louisville over the weekend. I got it Monday around 11:00 a.m. and the red ric was mush, the anemone had some stress and I'm unsure if he'll make it - but the micro is just fine. A little recessed for about 24 hrs, but now he looks fine - less a little of his natural color. That was 100 hrs in a bag with very little, very cold water.

Next couple weeks I'm going to ship a couple micros in trades and I was a little nervous but I'm not any more. :)
