Hey Jason
Perhaps you can help me. I purchased a pH probe from you about 2-3 weeks ago today I broke the bulb in my sump.
I did a 30 gallon water change within 10 min. of the disaster.
Should I be worried? What's the liquid in the probe? (distilled water I hope)
Help

Tank 65 gallon
Sump 20 gallon approximately
Refugium 30 gallons approximately

Total 115 gallons approximately

I also bought one of your Refractometer - RHS-10ATC. I really love it. A very nice instrument. All that was promised on the web page.
Thanks in advance.
Bruce

Hi Bruce,

Sorry to hear about the probe problem. I'm not sure what chemical is in that probe, but i don't think it will do damage. I've had that happen before and it's a really small amount of liquid. The water change certainly helped and to be safer you could even run some carbon for a few days and it should remove any stray chemicals out of the water.

Glad to hear you like that Refract!

thanks

jason

Hey Jason
Thanks for the reply. I did put carbon in. I forgot to mention it.
Glad to hear I am not the only one to do this. Misery loves company.
The tank looks fine but a little encouragement helps.
Thanks again
Have a nice 4th.
Bruce
