i just bought the 125 gal super skimmer for my 29 gal...i put it together and start running it...i noticed that there are air bubbles coming out of my intake chamber...have any of you guys ever had any trouble with this? it kind of looks like the flexible hose that goes to the main chamber is not letting it seal correctly.

The SuperSkimmers (like most skimmers) take some time to break in. I would give it at least a few days before worrying.

I have same skimmer in my 75 gal. It will take up to a good week to break in , but it will freak at every varible , like sticking your hand in will cause excessive bubbles and epoxy and gel glue are bad you need to turn off 24 hours if these are used. I finally installed a refugium and put skimmer in there and all problems solved . jsyk GL :)

The bubbles will calm after good break in just let it run. Micro bubbles wont harm they just look bad. But it will always have some micro bubbles.
