Lighting for Pavona

Is it true I'll need a metal halide for my pavona to do any good?

nope. mine grew well at the top under pc's, and very well on the bottom under t5's.

yeah, they'll pretty much take whatever they can get; for best color mh will help, but aren't needed, especially if its a small tank as listed in your profile.

They are quite adaptable. They are more inflated under less light.
