Just got a Tunze nanostream 6025 for my 12g AquaPod. Plugged it in.....and WAY too much flow. Turned my Nano into a snow globe. Any ideas on how to throttle it down a bit? Would some sort of inline dimmer switch work? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know you can't turn them down. Ask Roger in the Tunze forum.

Adjust it so it is blowing at an upward angle and away from the sand, but you can not turn the flow down.

You have to get the controller........

Dude why do you even need a Tunze at all in that 12g nano?

The only controllable nano-stream model is the 6055 and even when dialed all the way down would still be too much for tank IMO.

In flying we say speed is life....in reef tanks I was taught flow is life. I will figure a way to throttle the 6025 down a little. No reply yet from Roger in Tunze forum.

Don't get carried away listening and believing what some of these people on RC say.

You have to take what people say with a grain of salt (or sometimes a bucket of at that) <<< my own opinions included

Even the "experts" on here are full of $#!T at times. :)
