Anyone know what this is? It was on my rock this morning (when the lights were off) and i snapped the picture before i left to work. Once i got home from work it was gone.

Looks like Aiptasia to me, assuming you mean the tentacle-y thing in the middle.

Yeah I second Aiptasia. Look around Im sure you will find more. Peppermint shrimp are known to eat them. There are also other ways of getting rid of them. Im not to sure of them since my peps took care of them. They are bad and if not handled soon they will multiply.

I couldn't find anymore. I thought it maybe aiptasia but i wasn't sure because it had a furry ring around it and the sorta tentacles in the center. Well it's gone, maybe one of my peppermints ate it or something. If i see it again i'll pop it with a little joe's juice. Thanks guys!

Does aiptasia live in a tube????? I found it again tonight and just to mess with it i sprayed it with lime juice and it sucked back into a tube like a feather duster. Now that i know what it is I got a better look at it. any ideas??
