My tank has been up and running for close to 8 months now and over the past month I have started to notice that some of my coraline is turning white. Is this normal or a cause for alarm? What could be causing it?

Sounds like it's dieing. What's your calcium at?

lighting changes, water quality issues (post your parameters) and have you seen anything else distressed?

Def need to see water parameters. What is you're lighting, and did you buy it new?

Yeah, my bulbs probably need to be changed I haven't changed them since I bought them 7 months ago.....I knew that was bad for corals and such but I don't have any so I figured I was OK, didn't know that would also affect the coraline.

what kind of bulbs do you have? most types will go 1 year...

Also your salinity looks low at 1.023, I like .025 better.
Have you checked your other water parameters?
