I have 2 ICE CAP 250MH with AQ 14k lamps. When the timer kicked on today both lights fired up. 2hrs later one side was out. I checked the bulb and it appeared to be fine. I pulled the fuse out from the ballast and it was blown. I then took the fuse from the other ballast and replaced it on the one that was blown. As soon as I flipped the switch the fuse popped.
I put a new fuse in the good ballast and fired one lamp up, switched out the wiring harness and fired up the other lamp making sure that the wiring harness and mogul sockets were good and they are.
Is there anything else I can do before sending it in for repair?
