is it okay to keep the Gonodactylus smithii in a all glass aquarium 20gallon long? i was hoping it would be okay but i know smashers and glass normally dont work to well... but smithii';s being smaller might help=) let me know of your guy's experience and suggestions.. pictures of ur smithii's would be awesome as well=) thanks

i have a shallow sandbed in my tank. spearers are the ones that need a really deep sand bed.

you could make your sandbed deeper though if you wanted. Depends on what kind of look you like. I have a 3-4 inch sandbed in my smashers tank. Dont worry about it breaking the glass it would be very unlikely. The bigger mantis such as the peacock are the ones that are more likely to break glass.
