What is the light output of these bulbs when compared to T5HO? Are they less wattage, and higher output?

I built a T6 system for my plants- if I remember correctly they do ues less whats and are a slightly higher output but . . . the bulb selection is terrible compared to T5.

I've seen them in 10000k, but I don't know much about them.

To replace my T8 Normal Output tubes, I’m looking for T6 and T6-HO bulbs. I’ve found two websites that offer a range of aquarium T6’s from the daylight to the actinic spectra:

The folks at Natural Lighting told me in a phone conversation that both T6 and T6-HO bulbs are compatible with standard T8 fixtures and ballasts. They claim that both regular T6 and 55-watt T6-HO bulbs will be 10% brighter than my 32-watt T8-NO bulb when driven by my standard 32-watt T8 ballast. If I were to replace my T8 ballast with T5 ballast, then the T6-HO bulb can be driven to maximum light output.

Can anyone confirm these T6 claims?

I have an ARAD Model HLD-1250B 48” fixture that has 2 x 150w HQI bulbs plus 2 x 40w NO fluorescent tubes. The fluorescent tubes have gone out and I fear that the ballast may need to be replaced.

I plan to upgrade this fixture to T6 HO actinic tubes. To drive the HO tubes to maximum light output, I need a T5 ballast to replace my T8 ballast. Can anyone recommend a compact high-quality electronic T5 ballast and tell me where to get it?

Thanks!
