Purple Up

Am i suppose to dose the tank at night or day with purple up?

That supplement is a mix of various ingredients, and doesn't get very good reviews here. I'd recommend using a standard calcium and alkalinity supplement, if you aren't already, and skipping the Purple Up. This article might be useful for choosing a supplementation scheme, if you haven't done so:

I agree that I wouldn't dose Purple Up at all, but if you choose to, the time of day does not matter. :)

I might add quite few people are having problems with Purple-UP. It appears for some the finely ground aragonite in PU just sinks to the bottom and does nothing. Then one day the pH drops and it all goes into solution and the Ca++ and Alk go through the roof.
