I just added my first fish to my 20g nano... 2 tank-bred Ocellaris Clowns... should I turn my powerheads off to let them get used to the tank? I will also be introducing a Cleaner Shrimp once it finishes acclimating... I don't have all that strong of a flow... but I can tell they aren't used to it... how long can I leave the PH's off?

How long do you think it will take them to adapt to the flow? ...Don't want to stress them out...

Clowns will make you tired watching them so do not worry about the current. I have one that has beens swimming into the current non stop for at least 4 years

I would strongly suggest that you quarantine all new fish however.

they will hide in the rocks if they are to stressed out but i doubt they will have to much of a problem adapting. Clowns are some of the hardiest fish around so they should be fine. What you need to do is make sure you dont have an ammonia spike. Because you are putting two fish into a small system that has not had any fish in it before you might have a spike but again these fish are pretty hardy so you should be fine. Wait a week or so to add your shrimp though IMO.

Of course as always it is your tank so do what you want
